Hi. I have a grey and gold 35. I had the head drilled and glow plugs fitted to improve starting.
I think the injector pump needs adjusting. There seems to be too much fuel being injected into the cylinder.

Can anyone give me any information an how to do this?
Ta

hi just to say the c.a.v injector pump is governed and never needs adjusting. the fe35 has pintaux injectors and they pump extra fuel when starting some times these need reconditioning you can tell this by reving the tractor hard when warm if there is black smoke from the exhaust the injectors are worn. The only other pump settings are idle and full rev and pump timing the pump timing is 16degres before t.d.c when the tractor was built the timing was marked on the flange of the pump it is just a line were the pump bolts on to the engine.this is some times moved to make the tractor start easy but it also causes the tractor to sound noisey
