Super 90 parts

Hi all,

I'm the proud new owner of a 1963 MF Super 90WR (Perkins diesel).

There's an auction near me next week advertising a "Massey 95" (tractor), with a diesel engine, for parts.

A couple questions, if I may:

1. I can't seem to find any reference to such a beast - I can find info about MF 85s and MF 65s, 88s and, obviously, 90s - no 95s. Gotta be a typo, no?

2. Assuming it is a typo, and the tractor in question is either a 65 or an 85 - how compatible would its parts be with my 90?

I have no idea what I could expect a parts tractor of this (as yet undetermined) type/quality to go for.

Having said that, IF it's not a lot, and IF its parts are compatible with my 90, it might make a nice insurance policy should my 90 ever require parts. (knock on wood...)

The MF 95 is a Minnie Mo UBD, the super 95 a MMG-VI, the 97 a MM 705. The MF 85 has a Continental 277 diesel not the Perkins 302. The 277 has only three mains, but a whopping 5.5" stroke; good torque. Parts for this engine are becoming scarce to non-existant. HTH, best Yeoman
