Mike I have spent many hours on a Massey but none on a 165 but will try to help. If I were in your shoes this is where I would start. 1. Make sure you have the proper amount of hyd fluid installed. 2. Cycle the hyd cylinders to their full range several times (this will expell any trapped air). 3. Check hyd fluid level to see if it went down. If it did bring it back to it's proper level and cycle them again. 4. Is the bucket jumpy also or just the loader up and down? If only one is jumpy you probably have a bad quick disconnect coupler (it took us about 6 months to figure this one out on our Super 90). It's one of four so change them one at a time. 5. If both are jumpy get a pressure gauge that goes to about 3000 psi install it to a coupler and test the system for constant pressure. If the gauge is jumpy you have a bad hyd pump and you know what that means. I hope this helps and Good luck. Merle
PS. I know my grammer/spelling is bad and have one thing to say to those that feel they must critic it. GET A LIFE
