When I use my loader, it is slow and jumpy, The back 3Point is smooth and very responsive.
I changed the hydralic Fluid and didn't help the front loader. My Loader is not weak and it holds right where I set it when I hook up somthing on the 3 point---Just wanna to know whats up with the loader hydralics, being so jumpy {shimmies or quivers when raised and slow even with fast RPM's}
Almost like the hydralic sleeves are tooo tight on the Hydralic cylinders. Tried to clean the filter , But couldn't get the PTO cover off because Owners manual didnt say ant thing about removing the PTO lever or does it all slide off --Which iw just would not come stright off.
So I didn't want to mess it up before checking with You Guys....

Thanks Mike

Mike,

Are you sure the hydraulics for the loader is the same for the 3 point hitch?

Often when a loader is installed, a front pump is added to run the loader. If so, trace the lines and see where they go.

Also, if it is a separtate system, the frame often is used as the reservoir.

Just my 2 cents worth...

Mike was the loader working correctly before? Did you just get the tractor? Has it been this way since conception? Do you have auxiliary hydraulics (additional 9gpm pump) or regular hydraulics (4.4 or 4.8gpm the same pump that runs the 3pt hitch)?

If you have regular hydraulics, slow operation would be normal because of the low flow rate. Air bubbles in the cylinders can cause the jerkiness, but air cavitation will also take out a pump rather quickly....

On aux. hydraulics (separate circuit), you can check the pressure on the side.

You have a few variables that have to be sorted out because there is no stock answer...

Finally, bend the ear of a local MF dealer, even for the parts business if you do the labor yourself...

I'm sorry, I couldn't be more help Mike.
