I have a massey harris pony that is in need of some valve work. The valves have already been cut a few times. The tractor sat outside with the head loose for a number of years. Now the seats are pitted quite badly. My mechanic says they may be too far gone to cut again. Can someone tell me where I can get replacement valve seats. I realize that they would have to be installed by a machine shop but I need the parts. Thanks.

I had mine replaced at the machine shop when he bored my block and ground the valves. I think any good machine shop can find the new seats.

Thanks for the help. So it sounds like these seats are not a special order item. I assume that the machine shop will just measure the valve/valve hole and order a "generic" seat that is this size. Is that correct?
