Just a quick question. Need to replace standpipe, and it won't come thru the top.(my local dealer said it should). So, I am removing the top lift cover, I have all the bolts out of the top and the cover will move around, is there anything else I should disconnect before lifting this thing off. According to the IT manual, there is nothing else. Just thought I would check w/the pros.

Okay, I have removed the roller per IT manual. Now, can I just lift this thing off?

Stop !

there is a roller inside that you must disconnect,
drop the oil level first, the plate on the opposite side of the transmission housing to the PTO lever has to be taken off, look in there and you should see the roller in the linkage, spread the arms holding the roller just enough to release it, but dont drop it in there as some fellows have done.

Your stand pipe may be one that is fitted with a block feeding oil back to a sensor.

give Big Dean a hoy he is the chap to ask questions to regarding the setup of these hoists.
