I am going to look at a 555 diesel. How hard is it to get parts for them? Reason why i ask is becuase it is missing on 1 cyl. Anyone have any ideas as to what i should check out on it or what could be wrong with it that it is missing?

I have a 255 that suddenly started missing going across the field pulling a disk. I checked for fuel, etc and no luck. The valve had chipped off. It blew the piece of the valve head right out the exhaust without even marking the piston. All it was doing was blowing the fuel right back out the exhaust without it firing. Took a head job to repair that.

Hi Kevin,we have a 333d here.Did you have the injector checked?is the pump delivering fuel through the line that feeds that cyl?is the intake valve opperating ok on that cyl to deliver the air?that's about all that you may be able to check without taking it apart.if it is getting air and fuel no problem, then is internal.is there many hours on it out of curiousity?phill
