Hi Bill
Just saw yr post to CT in Oklahoma, in which you say you've seen a 35 with rear-mount winch and half tracks for forest use. I use my 65 for logging, and have a 3PL winch run from the PTO, which is OK but in some ways a hassle to control. I have thought of mounting a hydraulic driven winch fixed higher up above the 3PL, and therefore further forward.

Those winches you saw in use - how were they arranged?

cheers
David

Hi,

Well, I were just passing on the roads, my head turning on a swivel like a radar to catch anything old Ferguson/MF or 1965 Ford Galaxie.

I guess I have to drive back, get the hold of the owners, take some pics. How does that sound ?
I have never driven in that area before in my life, but it should be no tricks to find back.

Bill

Bill if you can be bothered to take photos that would be fantastic.

Boss Hog I'll borrow a camera from a friend - could take a week or so.

cheers
David

I"ve toyed with the idea of a rear mounted winch. If any of you guys could come up with pictures of your setups I"d love to see them.
