I have someone looking for the serial number on a 1977 MF1155 and he can't find it. Help?

If it has a cab, open door and look just above the clutch foot pedal.

Thanks. I found the number. It is 9B41289 which indicates it was manufactured in 1973 but the person swares he has proof it was purchased new in late 1976. Any comments?

One other question. Does anyone know of anybody who recentely purchased or otherwise acquired a real nice MF 1135 with cab from the Columbus, Ohio area. I purchased the tractor just South of Columbus in February and the seller was suppose to deliver it to the Memphis, Tennessee area in early April but the tractor has disappeared. I am getting inconsistent information about what happened to it. The primary story is that the truck driver ran off with it but I doubt that story. If you think you might have any information pertaining to this, please please respond.
