i have just installed a new carb kit (tsv-24)
because the carb leaked fuel out of the intake.
now with new kit it still leaks.
i have ajusted float to the spec's and several other adjustments and still the carb leaks.
it leaks worse when turning over the engine but very little or none when setting still.

Hi I'am assuming the you replaced needle and seat! The next thing is the float, make sure there is no hole where gas could get in. shake it you will hear liquid inside if it leaks. The next thing is to make sure the wings on the float don't touch the sides or the center of the bowl when you put it together thats what was wrong with mine.Make sure the float is set at the right height.

Hope this helps John

john,
thanks for the help. could you tell me what the power jet plug is supposed to look like.
mine was replaced by a 1/4 npt plug.
i believe it is pulling to much fuel when i turn the engine over.

Hi Mike Mine just has a brass plug. If the float is to high it will pull more fuel in. John
