Wow that is a nice looking tractor. I have a 1956 MH50 but it was restored with MF50 decals and paint color. How do I know it's a Harris and not a Ferguson? The serial number SGM503692 broke out to a 1956 Harris. I had no idea the gold paint was original. I use mine almost daily in the summer for mowing and tilling and post hole drilling (hey I'm a poet!) Gotta love it.

The Massey Harris 50's were red and bronze. The Massey Ferguson 5o's were red and gray

So THAT's what it's supposed to look like! I bought one a few months ago that was more ugly, spray can red' than anything els, but boy does it ever run! At least it did until I stabbed a 6" tree through the grill and radiator! Just now getting things back in shape and am trying to figure out if I want to go original on grill repair or just create one from scratch.
