Turf tires on a MF 35

I was looking at a Mf 35. It has a brush hog (needs some work top rusted out), woods finish mower, 3pt boom and a 6ft scaper blade. He wants $3500 for it. What is really keeping me from buying it is it has turf tires. I would use it for bush hoging also to plow and disc a few acres. Would the turf tires have enough traction for this? What would it cost to replace them? Would the rim size(width) be the same. They are 13-24 tires. Also the hydraulics have a lever near the gear shift(hi/lo range) to operate the 3pt. Should I check out the Draft levers also? Dont'know too much about MF. Mostly n series Ford. Thanks for any help!

Gary, Turf tyres are great if you only intend using your tractor for mowing grass & similar tasks, (golf courses, etc). You wont get sufficient adhesion to plough with them, especially in wet clay soils. I would change them for conventional ribbed tyres if you buy it. Had the same problem myself.
