I just bought a MF 65 gas, not running, and I am trying to find the firing order and any info on setting the points.

here's it right out of the manual:
Continental G176 (Gas)
Firing order- 1,3,4,2
Breaker Contact Gap- 0.022
Plug Electrode Gap- 0.025 - 0.027

If you can see the serial number plate, left side of engine, to the right of the plugs, that will tell you some other stuff- oils to use, plug gap, etc.
if you need anything else from the manual- e-mail me

What Engine ?

I'll give you the specs for the (2) Perkins Models..(AG212/AG236) from the 165.. dunno if it will help you or not..

Firing Order 1-3-4-2

Timing 10 / 12 degrees BTDC (Static)
Timing 32 / 34 degrees BTDC (Dynamic) @ 2000/2100 RPM.
Point Gap .022 Spark Plug Gap .025

The people that host this board sell reproductions of the orginal manuals... great investment..
