Can anyone tell me how hard it is to remove the top cover to get access to the hydraulic pump. Is there a lot to undo before it will come off and how about putting it back on, critical or not?

Thanks
Dale

It's heavy as h**l!!! Get help. Be careful as the hydraulic fingers will be engaging/disengaging the pump when it is lowered or raised.

There is not a great deal to undo. The line of bolts around the outside hold the cover down. Do NOT touch the four nuts on the top. There is a special lifiting tool available which allows you to do it safely. It can be lifted off with a hoist or similar but refitting lacks the alignment of the tool To do the job properly the adjustments should be carried out first. Buy a good shop manual, it will be well worth it.
