ok first off the switch seems like someone took it apart and screwed it up. Its off in the on position and vise versa and I took the wires off and its the switch not the wires, so best place to buy a new one ? Should I just get a universal one or a Ferguson one and where ? There are 3 wires, hot,to the button and the lights.
Next it seems as thought the amp gage reads about 5 amps when running but i put a volt meter ( not a digital one) on the battery and it reads past 15 volts. Is this too much ? If so can you adjust the voltage regulator ? It has a square Delco Remy I believe regulator and it looks to have a generator not an alternator . Thanks for the help

Part goes for 21.58 on this site. They ship fast and the parts are good quality. You ca go to eBay and save a few dollars, but it really isn't worth it after the exorbent shipping rates. Heck, you may be able to get a few other things while you are at it. They will have it on your doorstep within 3-5 days.

I am not totally sure, but your charging system sounds normal. As long as it isn't boiling the battery dry, and isn't ruining batteries, call it good.

Good Luck, Aaron
