I have a TO 35 that was buildt in 1960, if my serial number info is correct, it does have a two stage clutch. For what its worth.

The Ferguson TO-35 (sometimes referred to as the Ferguson 35) was introduced in January of 1955. I came in two versions: special (plain) and deluxe (with dual-stage clutch and live PTO. In the Spring of '56 the colors were changed to beige and flint metallic gray. Again in December of 1957 the colors were changed: red and flint metallic gray. In 1960 it became known as the MF 35. Some improvements were made along the way, mostly in the hydraulic system. As Ed said, it was pretty much the same tractor.

I think they are essentially the same tractor. Look at the Massy history somewhere on this site. Ferguson had made the TE-20/TO-20 for a while and then switched to the TO-30. I think the TO-35 was the next step and it was in the works when Ferguson merged with Massey Harris. The MF 35 may have live PTO power via a two-stage clutch. There are guys on this site who know more than I do. Did you ask the same question on the Ferguson page of this site?

Yea some one does know didn't you read the reply's
There is NO difference in the models you asked about except for the ones that the guys mentioned
it all depends on whether you have a deluxe or special and the year it was built as to Which one you have. Having said that I feel it necessary to Confuse you even more. There are differences in the Models, Yep there are, But those are in the drive lines some have continental engines in gas which are 4 cylinder and then there are those 3 cylinder perkins Gas engines as well as the perkins deisels but again there are No differences in the models you asked about with exception to ones already disclosed.
Now if I were you I'd figure out which one you have and get the material's on it and then Have fun
