On my MF165 the hydraulic fluid level is full, the hitch raises/lowers smoothly and quickly but the Allied loader is very slow to raise. I'd appreciate any ideas?

Iv'e got a 180 Massey with the same problem. I think the answer is that the pump just does'nt put out enough volume. I'm looking for an fix if you find a answer let us all know. Dave in Alberta

Hello Les -

We've had that problem on ours, when the loader is driven from the internal system, if the lift arms are more than half way up.

There's some internal linkage which reduces pump delivery as the arms raise. The delivery drops to almost zero with the arms full up.

A couple of other possibilies if the problem has been continuous. The internal pump delivers a maximum of about 4 gpm. The cylinders may be large enough that the flow won't drive them faster even at full delivery - how's your math to figure cyl volumes?

You might also have a restriction in the system. A holer smaller than 1/4" somewhere in the plumbing? Flow restrictor fitting installed at the valve bank? A flap of hydraulic hose lining partially blocking flow from an improperly assembled fitting?

Hope this helps.
