Would anyone have an I&T manual for a Massey 102 SR. My problem is the spacer that goes either in front of or behind the crankshaft pully. It appears that spacer should go between nut and pully, however alignment between puully's is not right. If anyone can help it would be appreciated. The engine is a continental 226.

Mike, Since no one is posting I'll take a shot. I
do have an I&T manual on the 102 but it doesn't
show real clear the order. I have an original parts book but the parts are laid out-not in any
order. The last two things after the pulley would
be a collar which appears to slide on the starting
jaw(nut)and the (nut). Do you have all the parts.
Should be from the inside-2 thrust washers, shims,
thrust plate,gear,oil slinger,dust seal(felt?)
pulley, collar on starting jaw(nut)This should be
correct and hope it is a help. Chuck

Thanks for your reply. We found problem, the original water pump had been relaced, sometime in the last 60 years. Replacement was different than original, we had to machine pully for correct alignment. Fine now.
Thanks again,
Mike
