Does anyone know where I can find a parts supplier that may have most if not all, of the parts for a MF35 Diesel. I was not able to locate a serial number on the tractor but Big Dean said the engine number (CL 1831961 C) was probably a Perkins A3-152 regular injection engine. He didnt have any info on possible year model based on engine number. If anyone can tell a year model based on this engine number it would be appreciated. I think about a 1960 or 1961.

Thanks to all of you. I just lucked up when I found this forum, it is filled by men who are willing to help each other and what makes it even better, helping strangers they have never met. You all have no idea how much I appreciate your help and being able to enteract with you all. I still need a parts manual and repair manual so if anyone has any ideas where a good one can be found let me know. God bless and keep you all. John

Hi John -

Big Dean's on the mark for dates.

2 of ours : Engine no. - Serial no - year

CL 1807986C - SNM 177934 - 1959

CL 1855131C - SNM 228711 - 1961

These probably were the original engines in my units. The engine is the A3-152 (vertical injectors), with chrome piston liners or sleeves with a .040" flange at the top.

The later A3's, S/N 1935954 and up had cast liners with a .150 flange.

The overhaul kits usually are clear on this difference.

As the chaps below pointed out, the parts are about the lowest price of any engine ever made - because there are so many of them around.

And for my money, the tractors are one of, if not *the* best!

Thanks for the information. I bought this tractor last year from the widow of a neighbor. He was 92 and used it right up till his death. I have never had one of these and am trying to restore it to its former glory. I bought it in working condition with equipment and just recently started having hydrolic problems, these were mostly solved by Big Dean and Aaron. Now I just need a parts manual, service manual and owners manual. Again thanks for the assistance.

This site right here has all the parts you need. TISCO and AGCO have 'em too. That is the easiest motor on earth to get parts for. Probably the cheapest to get parts for too. Look over on the left (here on YT) under Marketplace. 3rd line. (engine kits) Can't be beat!

A Agco dealer or Massy dealer has all the parts you need for that tractor.
