Can anyone tell me which pivot pin bushing I need for a 1959 gas mf35. I also need to know how many I need. I am not sure what holds them in place, the bushing was missing when I bought the tractor.

Thanks guys

Hello,
Normally only one bush is fitted from the rear. They should be pressed in but if the axle beam is worn you may find that it will be loose. You can weld around the flange of the bush and that should keep it in. Two bushes can be fitted but depending on the condition of the rest of the axle assembly you may find that the whole assembly will go tight or at least a little difficult to move freely. However many you fit the important thing is to keep it greased. Even with a loader one bush is OK. The pin does have a flange on it for the shouldered bolt ana locknut behind.

The flanged bushing is p/n 182850m1. It is inserted from the backside. Other advice to
insert two of these(one from ea. side) is good
but shouldn't normally be necessary. Chuck.

I did my 135, ought to be similar

getting the pin out was a real chore, had to unbolt front end and use 10 lb persuader plus much bad language, I had a single bushing inserted from crankshaft pulley side

MF (Agco) dealer sold me the wrong pin, there are several styles, my old one was solid with milled slot to keep it in place, new one was hollow, one style has ear with a bolthole in it

Big Dean says to bush both sides of the axle so I did that
