I have a late model MF165 Perkins gas. Question is: after removing the power steering reservoir canister to clean and check the system, I am not sure how to position the canister when reinstalling it. The canister can be rotated to any position with no lining notches or positive marker. There are notches on the outside of the canister but I do not know what to line them up with. The service and owners manuals do not seem to address this. Any help would be appreciated. It needs to be in the correct position to set the correct oil fill level. Thanks, Phil

The canister on my 165 has three notches and it is positioned so that the lower notch fits in a matching tab. The upper notch is just about in line with the lower oil line. I hope that this helps, otherwise email me.
