Massey-Harris 101 Jr. Engine Identification

My Father inlaw has a 101 Jr. tractor. It has not been used in years and now has a seized engine. The year of the tractor is not known, the id tag is missing from the frame. The serial number tag is still on the engine, it is as follows MFB162G-60017. Can anyone tell me what year this tractor might be by this number.

You need to scrape on top of the tranny behind the clutch pedal, just in front of the tranny cover. The serial number is also stamped there, I think on a milled flat area. Then you can go to serial numbers to the left under "Research and Info", and find the year there.

Thanks Dave, the numbers were there. The old tractor appears to be a '46
