Hello, I am wondering if anyone could give me some insight into the Massey 44 Diesel. I have an idea on the HP and everything but wondering if the PTO is live or not and also did they have any hydraulics? I found a place that has one online but has no info about it besides it is a 44 diesel and wide front. Thanks

Most 44's did not have live pto but if it were a
late one it could. Then would have a long lever
with plastic knob on RH side ahead of running
board. Most had hyd.pumps. Would be a Webster
pump along front side of engine with lines going
down and to back of tractor. Most 44's had the
optional rockshaft across back of tractor with the
"depth-o-matic cyl arrangement. A three was optional on the later 44's. Some are equipped with
aftermarket three point hitch's. None have draft
control. Chuck.
