I want to mount a hydraulic pump on the pto of a MF-50. Anybody ever do that, what kind of pump did you use? I could use some pictures if anybody has some. The way I see it, that the pump would have turn counter-clockwise. I have a double auxiliary valve on the tractor hydraulics now. I had the valve rebuilt last May and I just got to install it today after I had the tractor down for extensive repairs. The bill was $183 and the darn thing leaks worst then before the repair, The loader will not even say up for a minute. I can't go back to the dealer that did the repairs because of the time frame of reinstalling the valve.

Look for some of the posts by "Big Dean" on this site. One of more of them deal with this topic and he emailed me specific parts numbers for mounting one on my MF-165.

A lot of the Masseys had a built in mount for a hydraulic pump with an SAE B mounting. You have to get a drive plate that bolts to the crankshaft pulley and then a shaft screws into that with left-hand thread. The other end of the shaft has an internal spline and the input shaft of the pump fits into that.

I don't know if the MF-50 had this mount. I think it did. But look for other posts on it. One of them lists the models that had this mount. The drive plate and shaft are not cheap, $100+ each if you cannot find used ones. I am looking around for ones that will fit my MF-165 right now.
