Has anyone else had trouble ordering parts from your local (or as close to local as you may have) dealership? I have a couple of dealers within 25 miles of me and neither has impressed me with their customer service. Called one place and the lady working the phones wasn't able to help me at all. I wound up getting so frustrated that I just ordered my parts online from another source. I now have a leaking steering box (manual steering) and want to rebuild it. Called a different dealership and let the parts guy know EXACTLY which part numbers I need and in which quantities. "I'll call you back with the exact price on this", he said. He didn't. I called him back and he had lost all of the information I had given him. Is there a dealership somewhere that actually works with you to order parts?

The Massey dealer I use, although it's not local has given me the best customer service of any equipment dealer I've ever done business with. The John Deere dealership that my family has done business with since 1970 dosn't even come close to them.

I get all of our from our local dealer, it depends on the guy behind the counter. There is 1 bone head, can't think of his name, but there are a few others that are good. My favorite is Mark.

Vanderloop Equipment- (920) 766-5785

They are really a large dealership that sells to Canada and beyond, but they have a great parts/service department. They do A LOT of Claas, Fendt, and other bigger expensive names under AGCO, but they started as a Massey dealer and still are, still push Massey just as hard. I grew up on a 285 and later a 165 for a reason. THEY KEPT US SMALL FARMERS GOING!!!!!

I work at a Massey Ferguson delaership in Harrisonburg, VA. I used to work in parts and have now moved into sales full time. We have excellent customer service and even if the parts are no longer available from AGCO we have some excellent salvage yards that we deal with and on occasion have even assisted customers with having parts built from scratch. Give us a call Dayton Equipment 540-434-5341. [email protected]
