I have in my sailing yacht a M.F. C23 as main engine. 2years ago I changed all driven parts, liners etc.. Since that time I have starting problems. If I use starting help, gasoline with oil and inject it in the air intake fittings and crank the enginee its starts at once. but after 70 running hours I had to change two piston (3 & 4) because of overheating. the spareparts which I change where all standart size.
I tied once to inject a shot of oil into the header plug hole and the enginee fired at once.
I stay here with my yacht in the Philippines and havn't a good access to tools for messuring the compression.
Maybe somebodey could give me an advices what else should I try to improve the starting ceromonie.
