I have a chance to buy a 202 w/MF 200 front end loader. Has an engine oil leak behind engine that leaks out past the housing and starter. It is gas, starts and runs good. The price is $1500. Is this in the money? Can I get hurt, or if need be, IF I had to, part it out to get my money back?

Hey. Since I posted this thread, I bought the tractor, and found out it is not leaking engine oil, but differential fluid. I am very pleased with what the tractor can do. Thanks for the input.

The 202 and 203 are industrial versions of the MF-35. They have a much heavier front axle and spindles than the agricultural 35's. They do have the same engines - 202= Continental Z-29, 203= 3-152D Perkins. Up here in central Washington State that would be a good price, specially with the loader. You'll have to split the tractor to fix the rear seal, and will want to replace the clutch while you're in there. They are a fine machine. Good luck and have fun!

Thanks for the info. I am going to take a closer look at it tomorrow.
