hi could someone please enlighten me on where you dump the engine oil in on a 165 massey ferguson diesel tractor. I cannot find a oil fill anywhere either on the side or top. The only way you can do it is put a small hose on the oil dipstick opening and use a funnel which takes forever. I have never seen a tractor without a place to put in the oil other than the dipstick hole.

thanks

Admittedly, it is a bit misleading. On my parents 135, it is just in front of the empty spot where the PS pump should be. It is not marked and looks like anything but an oil cap. On my 65 it is just about as inconspicuous as it gets. Just a round protrusion from the block in a similar location.

When I was first told that to put tranny fluid in an automatic, you had to pour it down the dipstick tube, I thought he was pulling my leg.

Now, when I was sent for a gallon of prop wash..... PS, It is right next to the muzzle blast....

The oil filler cap is just in front of the injector pump,as indicated by the blue arrow.

Aaron, it is amazing how many people that are not familiar with Perkins engines think that filler is actually something to do with lubricating the injector pump.
