This is just an FYI. I was looking for a solid state ignition for my MF 10 horse lawn tractor. I was told by my repair shop and by several posters that the SSI was no longer available. I just want to post to say that is a myth. The part is TE 610906 an SSI available at Farmer's Exchange in Ohio for $94.95. It is available at other on line sites for $135.64. Tecumseh site has them. So the myth that they are no longer available died. There is a way of converting these systems using a mopar coil and some rewiring(also on the internet) I think my repair shop was just too damned lazy to look further than their parts book. I will get the SSI and its about a three minute job to install it. To all the greedy SOB's out there that were trying to get $300 to 400 for one...happy shelf life!!! Mike in Exeter Ontario
