There are no serial tag on this tractor. All numbers are part off the castings.
Engine block is a F400A418M
The rear wheel has numbers 6440A,the axles have
number 7464A and the pto has #6377A.
On the engine head,we have F 1-24 stamped on it.
I know it,s a continental,as for the rest of the tractor ????.It looks like a Mustang, 20To or a 20 TE. Photos are available. All help would be welcomed. Thks Roger

If it has a 124 cubic inch Continental flathead engine then I would guess that it's a model 81 or maybe a 20. If it has hinged sidepanels, then it is most likely a 101 or 102 Junior.

Thks Alberta Mike!
The unit has hinged sidepanels
with the f124 engine,so this would make it a 101
or 102 ? The year appears to be in the late 194??. How can i be certain.

My brother-inlaw was into those older M_H models some of those also had the serial number stamped on the frame. Have you looked?

There is a tin ID plate on the tractors left side riveted on however it's probably gone. The s/n would be there. It is also hand-stamped into the following location:

Go to the space between the cast iron gear shifting platform (has 1,2,3 etc on it and the rear steel plate covering the differential gears. That space is actually a "machined" flat surface) and the tractor's serial number is stamped in there on the operator's left. Not too far from the clutch pedal when at rest. It will be there, covered in paint and grime so you'll have to wire brush it off to find it. Early 101/102 models had a single simple side panel per side, later ones (after '43 or so) had two panels per side, more styled in the curvature with an extra panel found under the gas tank cover. Do you have hinged panels on yours?

That's right, I knew that already. What I meant to ask is do you have a single panel per side or two panels per side?

A Massey Harris Mustang doesn't look anything like a Ferguson TE20 or TO20. Also, the Fergusons would have overhead valve engines rather that the F series flathead engine.
