1965 MF50 drag link bending. Power Steering Help

I'm having a bit of a problem with the draglink on my MF50 with power steering. It is bending the end of the link where the threaded stud enters the right hand tie rod. The picture shows the 'newly' installed part after one cycle of sterring from stop to stop. A previous part was broken at the same place. I have adjusted the cylinder valve for center and the steering works fine with only minor pressure to make the wheel turn in either direction, with no growling from the pump. The spindles do not contact the 'hard' stop at either extreme of the steering, in fact there are not metal to metal contact points anywhere along the entire range of motion.

This troubles me as this is the second draglink to be bent this way? Is this just a design issue with the steering?
