thinking of upgrading my 2200 treever chassis which is a 165 chassis from the ad3 152 to ad4203 motor and was wondering if anyone knows if the bolt patterns on the engines for hooking the front axle carrier are the same bolt patterns on the engines?

Hi Jason and Big Dean
Sorry about the late posting,
I was lucky enough to win a parts book on eBa-- which covers both the 165 and 150 and they do have the same part being the; Support Assembly Front Axle, with part number 505 398 m91. so thanks Big Dean you can go to the top of the class! and Jason please keep us informed how you get on with this modification, I have heard of a FE35 Ferguson being fitted with a larger AD4203 motor with a plate being fabricated to pick up the holes in its Front support assembly, the larger motor was fitted to supply the needed PTO power for a sprayer in a steep apple orchard.
this arrangement was very successful with the tractor still in use.
Cheers Arthur from Tassy

Jason The US built MF165 had the AD4-203 engine them and and the MF150 had the AD3-152 engine in them I have been retired for 10 years but if I remember connectly the MF150 and the MF165 front support would interchange but it has been a long time I could be wrong.
