We got an 1100, 1105, 1130, 1155...all studs but I really like that 1155 with that perky v-8. Used to be the biggest tractor on the farm, now theres 3 bigger and newer ones, 8280, 3680, 3670.

Hi Logan,
I saw your letter on the massey File,
I liked what you said about Massey,s,
they are really cool,And the 1155,s are the last one in my opinion that was a really good tractor,
Save for the bigger 4WD,s,those are something else altogether,
I looked at a 4800 yesterday Logan at a used
Tractor dealer,
I was In ok shape, real greasy, and dirty around the back,
Like no one cared about it,and the cab needed help Inside too,Padding was all gone,
The guy wanted 8000 for it,I dont know if it,s worth it? but that,s par for the course I guess,
You get it if you want it,and then redo it,
Or use it In the field, one or the other,
It would be cheap horsepower anyway, and not as difficult to work on as some of the newer one,s
with all their chip,s, and sensor,s In the system,
Stay in touch logan if you want to talk Massey,s ok,

Ive seen better one,s around like older 1805,s,
and such, like them better, not so huge that it,s hard to deal with it,
But alas, I like em all Logan

To Bob in NY,
Kirk C,from Kansas,
I saw the letter you put on about the 1105 No Cab,
If I was in NY, maybe Id go and look at it,
and see If it was free, or if it would start,
It would be a cool tractor to have as there wasnt alot of them around here at least in Kansas,
Bob,was there any other Massey,s around there
that were any good that you know of?
I see alot of Deer,s around here in North Kansas,
But I have to really look for a good Massey,
There here,and there,But Not like JD,s,

Here in N.Y., you will find some older Masseys where there was a good dealer at one time. The problem now is that the dealers are few and very far between and the farms are really thinning out. That 1105 I mentioned sits at an idle farm. I asked a neighbor about a few years ago and found out that the his brother had inherited the farm and equipment. There was "bad blood" between them. The man I talked to is deceased now.

I live in western NY. I do tractor and equipment repair in between runnning a small dairy farm. Word got out that I worked on Masseys and ever since I've been flooded with business. The nearest MF dealer mostly handles vinyard stuff. So I end up ordering parts over the phone. Mabie Brothers in Kirkville NY has been excellent to deal with.

My nephew farms in Madison Co. and has 7 Massey Fergusons. He does alot of business with Mabie Bros. It is a long way to any Massey dealer from here in Herkimer Co. I have been to Mabie's for parts once.

Too bad,
I have a contact on a 2775,not too far away from me,
Im thinking of getting it, but i havent madeup my mind,
