Posted this message in 'tool talk' also - sorry if you've got it twice. have just reconditioned my grey fergie (12Volt). Everything is right, running like a baby but fuel is boiling in tank. Has never had a heat shield in my time. Now runs on ULP (premium. Any suggestions. Just Learning.

Make sure that your radiator fan is operating properly, the radiator is not clogged with debris interfereing with air flow, your fan shrowd is in place, and use gasoline without alcohol in it.

yeah, Dean done all that ,new radiator ,pump etc. Shroud on but not bonnet yet
