Looking for information about MF 180 diesel. How rare is this tractor? Is there parts available for the engine and what is the value of this tractor with the motor stuck and in good running condition? Tractor is a narrow front with power steering, 3 point and nice tin. Would appreciate any information from someone who knows MF tractors.

Hi there. It's a very good tractor all around. The engine is a common Perkins A4-236, wich is found in alot of models. It`s around 65 HP.

A nicer tractor from MF, with an operator's station on a treaded steel platform, instead of
the hug-the-tranny-case. It had stress plates on
the engine. Appeared to be a row crop version of
the 175. The downside was, at 63 HP, it was under
the Oliver,Ford,Deere RC models, W/66-67 HP. MF
went to the 1080, w/80 HP. There was a YT Ad for
a 180D, recently, for $3,500 I believe.

I've had a 180 for years, very good tractor. Parts are all available, but pricey, through Agco dealer. Hydraulics are a little slow but get the job done.
