I am looking for the following part numbers so that i can order them online. i haven't decided what manuals to get yet. 1977 30b with 34a loader a3-152 perkins diesel.
part numbers needed -

air filter - large outer, also is there supposed to be more than the round plate over the outside of the filter?

dipstick - on some sites it shows two for 30b with 152 ?

large filter for loader - appears to be leaking from it thought i might replace to get rid of leak.

any info is greatly appreciated

Matt

My 34 (not 34a) has a 1039 161 M91 cartridge in a can about 5 1/4" od x 8" high.

Fram C1672 or Gresen K23012 cartridges fit. The Fram is listed as a 25 micron element, and the Gresen at 33 micron.

Fram C1671 also fits mechanically, and is listed as a 10 micron.

We use the Gresen 25 micron.

Dean - do you have any comment on the selection of the various screening sizes - 10 - 25 - 33 micron?

Jack

Hi Matt -

My parts books for all my 152's and 203's (30, 35, 40, 135 UK, 135UK, 165) show dipstick part number 731 117 M91, Perkins 31786912.

The 30A is a bit later, (it has the 3 cyl 152, while the straight 30 has the 4 cyl 203) and might be different - are there any of the above models in your vicinity?

If so, you can check:

- if the tube holding the stick is the same at the top - just a straight piece of pipe, and
- if the tube length above the pan/block seam is the same as yours.

If so, it's a pretty safe bet it's the same.

Good luck!

jack
