I am looking into buying a 1105 with multi power and about 5600 hrs. on the tractor. Is there anything to look out for on these tractors or weak points to look out for? Thanks.

I've had a couple of 1105's. The last one sat for a few years, before we got it, so it needed some work. Hydraulics needed o rings and seals throughout, engine needed rings. This hydraulic needs a MF trained guy, the hydraulics are more complicated with valving than a JD or IH, and these other mechanics can't get er done. It has a HD loader on it and now the machine works great. We installed a joy stick on the loader and now it moves bales faster than the 4440. Tractor and loader was 6500, hyd 1000, ring job 1000 and some trucking, tractor is vg for the investment.

Same here 1105 w/9000 hrs all original. Only
weak link is hydraulic controls sometimes need
work. If pto/multi power selectors work ok then
hyd should be good, they work off lo side. Lift
works off the hi side, easy to check.

Well, we got an 1105 with 8700 hours on the origianal motor, and everything else but the clutch. Had to replace the clutch about a 100 hours ago. Very dependable tractor, need ours morning and night for feeding cows.
