High pressure hydraulics quite few seconds after startup. You can pull the unloading valve up then reset it and you have steering, brake etc for as long as you are turning the steering wheel. Tractor has new charge pump and main pump has been resealed. All valves look OK low volume works OK and have 180 to 215 charge pressure. contol pressure is 95 to 100 what am I missing.

From the information you've given I would first say that you have priority valve problems. What is your system pressure at aux valves? I'm taking it that filters/screen are new and clean. I'm also worried that some of the valves inside the main pump may not be set or operating correctly since it was apart recently. It sounds like the main pump is getting enough fluid and pressure to it, but it's not putting enough out. A service or IandT manual would be a tremendous help to you right now. What was the reason for the new charge pump and resealing the main pump? How was the brakes before the rebuild? Any brass in the filters or pickup screen? Sorry for so many questions. There are alot of things that can go wrong with that system usually all at once.

I have a I and T manual it is pretty good but nothing about this kind of problem in it. The main hyd. were orignal problem along with main pump leaking out the shaft. The charge pump had a key sheared on the low vol. side and it had eat the housing up. There was a good bit of metal on the magnet in the screen housing but no brass and the screen was pretty clean the brakes were really good. I normally work on John Deere, Cases and Internationals here in Texas this is a different animal.

I would try a new filter, cut the old one apart see what's in it. Other than that I would still say priority valve since you have steering and brakes but nothing else. One other thing that can go wrong when alot of metal ges into the system is the distributor valve inside the main pump can stick.

I'm sorry I was not clear I have nothing on the main hyd. circut. Steering, brakes, lift arms and remotes are all affected. Seat, multifunction and PTO are all that works. I also was thinking about the distributor valve, but needed a second opion. I really appreciate all the help. Thanks

Try a new hyd. filter. I have seen this before, the filter plugs and it will work for a min. then quit again.
