I really blew it this time. Last summer I installed a new cluth into my MF50. This summer the pedal went to the floorboard and stayed there. I split the tractor again and found that the release bearing, apparentlly had frozen and, had worn completly through the release levers. (Quite evenly I may add, my adjustments at installation must have been done well.) My local tractor parts guy cannot supply me the release levers. He says I have to buy the whole clutch. Should I avoid this kind of repair? Can someone help me locate only the release levers for an old style dual clutch?

I would try the wreckers, probably won' give them away though. I am guessing that clutches from 135 to 180 are all the same so should be lots of old ones out there. I replaced the clutch in a 150 last summer. I looked up in the inspection whole and found the new through out bearing was not releasing. After taking it apart again I found the shaft was dirty and needed a little emery cloth. The through out bearing slid on a good inch futher after this.
