Hi,

I am making some repairs/adjustments to my 135 hydraulics. The parts and service books refer to two different lift covers. One is 7/8" thick and the other is 1 1/8".

The question I have is exactly where do you make this measurement. In the book, it looks like you are supposed to measure the thickness at the machined surface adjacent to the bolt hole.
On my cover, the thickness is 1 1/8" at the bolt hole machined surface, but is 7/8" thick along the rest of the forward edge. So, which cover do I have??

Thanks,
Kevin

The front flange where the bolts go on the 1-1/8 liftcover is 7/8". The 7/8'' liftcover that flange is either a 11/16 or 3/4 I cannot remember which for sure and I do not have one of them handy to measure I measured a new 1-1/8 liftcover I have in my shop to be sure on it.

I'd suggest contacting Big Dean at [email protected] He's the authority on this subject.
