Dave, according to my references you have a 1964 model 35.

CT, your FE35 would also be from 1964.
Normal width and Perkins A3.152 equipped.

Hey CT, the S is for normal width and the N is for the diesel A3.152 engine.

This info on this site put it in '64. The last year MF35s were made. Not sure why the conflict. 1964 started with 247605.

Wade, I am convinced that there are some conflicts in s/n between the tractors manufactured in Coventry and those manufactured in North America. My plate indicates that I have a FE35 from Coventry and the s/n is SNFY360173. It is a Perkins A3-152 with dual clutch, differential lock, tractormeter, and deluxe seat. I thought the s/n should begin with SDMY (S = standard, D = diesel, M = dual clutch, Y = differential lock). Also, mine is positive ground (or earth) which confirms it is from Coventry. The man I bought it from said it was a 1963. Posts on this forum have told me that I don't have an FE (not that it matters, just part of the confusion), and that the s/n plate wasn't necessarily correct as far as model. C. T.
