Hi

I want to install a power steering on my MF-50 gas. I found a complete power steering setup on a retired MF-65 gas. Do you know if power steering from a 65 will bolt right on a 50.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Chuck for your reply....

I found another information today in a service manual. It is stated that when cylinder is extended on 65 wheels turn left on 50 wheels turn right side. That confirms your thinking that geometry is different for each model.

I made my mind now...I will search for a P/S for model 50 only.

Many thanks for your help.

I would not advise it. The parts book
shows most parts the same. The Pedestal
and the cyl. and the anchor are the same
but the pivot arm on the pedestal has
diff p/n. The pump part #'s don't interchange. Though the gasket is the
same the two models show a different
drive gear. Also the lower steering arm
has some Diff. according to tractor type
so may work and may not. It would all bolt
on but the geometry must be diff. Chuck
