Looked at a 1960 (?) MF-35 Deluxe today. It has the Perkins diesel, PS, and power adjust rims. No calcium ever. Paint is original and good. Sheet metal is good. Grill is perfect. Tires are great. Everything works except the tach, fuel gauge and preheater. New MF dual clutch last year and is it ever stiff!

Owner asking $3,200 including 5 foot cutter that needs work and boom pole.

Any thoughts?

Dean

You guys were so convincing that I thought I'd better snap it up so I bought it today. I was able to get it for $3,000 and will bring it home Sunday.

Barn is now completely full with 5 Fords, 2 Masseys and 1 Kubota. Something must go so will probably sell the FE-35 diesel in the spring.

Thanks again.

OK. You guys convinced me. I'll buy it tomorrow. (I know the owner and it's not really for sale yet.)

I'm more of a Ford guy and do not know my Masseys very well.

When I get it home and go over it thoroughly, I'll post back about my 62 FE-35 Perkins, which I will probably sell.

Thanks for all the advice.

Dean

Dang! If you don't buy it, please post the contact info and I'll buy it.

That thing would go for 4 to 5 grand around here.

I paid $3,700 USD for a 1964 and it is a good tractor, but nowhere near the condition of the one you are looking at. Mine also doesn't have the PS or power adjust rims. C. T.
