I've gathered some information about my mystery tractor. It appears that it may be a TE20. But i didnt think that they were sold in the US.

If you haven't read the story its on the second page. Basically the stats on my tractor are:
Z120 engine, 12v conversion, 16sp axles,14" brakes,4speed with reverse and "S", LEYS stamped in rear, had Sure Seals on the inner axle and normal seals on the outer, #3795 Timken bearings in hubs.

I need to know what tractor this is to order parts. I have ordered axle seals and brakes for a TO20 and they are wrong. Only the axle collars fit. Could someone have swapped in a TO30 rear?

Thank you for your help!

TE 20s were imported to the USA until Harry could get production up and running for the TO 20.

I suggested previously that you posted this on the Ferguson board - after all, your tractor is a ferguson, not a massey. You'll get expert replies there from such people as John, UK.
As to your last paragraph, again, my previous post gave you the answer - TE20's (made in UK) had 14" Girling brakes, T020 and T030 were made in USA and had 11" Bendix brakes.
Unless yours is a parts tractor, the following should apply: Is the transmission case aluminium? TE's were alloy, TO's cast iron.
Is the steering and transmission cover one piece? TE's were one piece, TO's were two.

Thanks, i didnt catch that other forum. I thought you meant another web site.

Well it must be a TE because it has the one piece cover. The magnet didnt attract to my transmission either. It does to the rear but not from the bellhousing to rear (trans case).

THANKS for the help

I'll post in the other forum now.
