Have been working on 2244 with front loader and detachable backhoe. Need to work on the backhoe motor after fix hydraylic tranny filter problem. Have replaced the original hydraulic reverser filter with a MF suggested after market change to a spin on filter. The filter that Mf recommends is a motor oil filter and the pressure blows out the top seal and floods everything. Does anyone have a suggestion for converting this filter to a hydraulic spec filter. My local shops are lost. I was thinking of calling WIX and see if they could help. Our local Carquest dealer is 50 miles away but could order a filter if I had a number. Big Dean I will e-mail you to see what you think might work. The old Napa 1460 filter would work but the engineers have cut production cost and the rubber seal is no longer glued down just held in place by soft alumimun tabs. The hydraulic oil get under the seal and blows the seal out the top. They cut production costs too much.

Thanks in advance friends.

Craig
