Many Q's about my new 1105

I've just traded for a MF1105 and have some questions that I hope somebody can help me with.

A. One of the fuel lines is leaking where the thin fuel line connects to the cast part that comes off of the fuel pump. A drip of diesel about every 10 seconds. I tried to tighten the nut but it is tight so I figure there must be a gasket or seal in there that needs to be replaced. The fuel pump is a C.A.V. My questions are these;

Is the fuel line still pressurized when the engine is off?
Is there a seal inside the nut that can be easily replaced once the nut is loosened?
Is there a process of refilling the fuel line once it is put back together or will the fuel pump re-fill the line to the cylinder?

A few more questions about the hydraulics.

I am assuming the the hydraulic fluid dip stick needs to be all the way in when checking the fluid level, is this right?

Also, is the hydraulic dipstick that is on the left side of the tractor accessed by opening the battery door really the only way to add hyd.fluid to this machine. The fill port is right under the floor of the open station. How are you supposed to pour hydraulic fluid in there?

Lastly, I'm trying to attach a post driver to it (the 1105) and the tractor I traded in had a threaded neck for hyd.fluid fill that I threaded a coupling to from the post driver. High pressure from the tractor to the raise the cylinder, low pressure high volume directly to the hyd tank for the return fluid. The 1105 seems just to have a rubber stopper for hyd.fluid cap no threads on inside or outside of fill neck, how has anybody with an 1105, 1135, or 1155 attached a return from a post driver.

Thank-you very much for information on any of these questions.

I run a post driver and the other guy was right
there is a 1/2 pipe plug on the left side of the
lift or rock shaft, this is for the return line
from the post driver. The 1105s trans,rearend,hyd
all used the same fluid (22 gal)from the clutch back its all a big hyd resivor. Youll need a very
short 1/2 nipple & adapt it up to the drivers large return line.

First get an owners manual that'll answer most of your questions. A service manual and parts book would also help. Get a long flexable funnel to add your hydraulic fluid. That fill spot sure beats IH's or Deere's fill point that lets you get oil all over the operators platform. Check fuild with stick all the way in. As for your post driver question. Unless you have a hydraulic motor with a case drain on your post pounder you will be able to return the oil in through one remote you are using. Or I believe on the left hand side of the tractor under the rockshaft is a 1/2" pipe plug that you can use to return oil to transmission. Keep in mind that the 1105 is a closed center hydraulic system, unless your previous tractor had a closed center system(Deere or simialr Massey). your post pounder may not work correctly.
