Big Dean:

I have been looking for a set of injectors for my FE-35, SN M242158, with Perkins engine. Another poster on this board has a set of MF NOS Perkins injectors MF PN 35504. These injectors are marked "DB" and are supposed to be for Perkins A3-153 engines from SN A61449 on. The poster says that these injectors have .0157" orifices and are for use with "lower pressure" pumps CAV 3232788A.

I am not particularily fimiliar with MF tractors or Perkins engines but do know that both the tractor and engine evolved over the years and that it is sometimes easy to end up with parts that will not work on a particular version of the engine or tractor as a result. Neither the poster nor I know if these injectors will work on my engine.

Might you know or know of a way that I can find out?

Thanks, in advance.

Dean (aka Little Dean)

Give Spokane Diesel a call - (509) 838-3556. They've been selling and repairing CAV pumps and injectors for over 40 years. I've had excellent luck with both their work and thier service.

I don't have a parts book for the FE35 or the MF35 to check those number for you. I Know there is 3 different injectors part numbers listed in the parts book for the MF35 with the A3-152 Regular Injection engine but I don't know what goes with which engine serial number. If I remember the Injectors are marked DA, DB and F but it has been so long since I have look at a parts book for them I just can remember.

Thanks for the reply, Dean. I will see if I can get some help from my MF dealer the next time that I am there. They are sometimes not too helpful.
