Does anyone have a good website link or suggestion of a good book for identifying Massey implements?

I have a spreader that I would like to identify.

Regards

There is also a ground drive model 15, I
believe 90 bushel. The spreader pictured
however does not look like a MH spreader.
Our dealership was open since 1940 and
we sold the models but nothing that looked like this. How about some casting
numbers? Wheel hubs,sprockets,usually
say M-H or other clue what brand.

If its a 50s model that it must be a late 50s spreader.I would rather think it is at least a 1960s production if not a 70s model spreader.

The Massey Legacy vols. 1 and 2 by John Farnworth. I have them they are excellent. They are British books but they cover the worldwide Ferguson/ Massey Harris /Massey Ferguson range of tractors and implements. I see they are available in America too.

Old Massey Harris Buyers Guides are the best source of information on MH implements that I know of.Usually found at flea markets and antique tractor shows and swap meets, but rthat are usually expensive.Individual operators manuals are often for sale also.I have a 1948 Buyers guide and the the two wheel model 11 tractor spreader is listed as is the 8 & 8R(rubber tired) which is a 4 wheel spreader that could be drawn by a tractor or horses. Just a guess, but I imagine the model 11 was the only spreader built besides the model 8 & 8R up to the time the company became known as Massey Ferguson. It was a very popular spreader in its day.
