What is the firing order of the motor
What is the height of the seat arch for the seat spring mounting
What is the best way to clean out the gearbox without touching it.

Malcolm,
The arch-style bracket is 4 1/2" high,with a 3/4"
high stud on top which is 7/8" diameter. Bracket is 1 1/4" flat stock steel. The two 3/8" anchor
holes are off-center, by a 1/4". If you are about
to fabricate this 'task', I'll send you one. I
have one from a stored box, 44 parts, don't need
it. Better off on another saved 44, than idle. If
you post a number to call, I'll contact for the
ship address. Clean part, N/C. Hope this helps.

Firing order:1-3-4-2. There were three choices in
the conical seat spring, for correct 'Velvet Ride'
the operator's weight of 160, 200, 240. A 165 lb
guy could hop on the HD spring 44, with the shock
moving a slight fraction. Most MH tractors were
shipped with the medium duty spring, since less
part damage. Your rear post support may vary, due to '50, changes, plus central hydraulics, or not.
Either a tube welded to a 2 bolt, flat base, or arched flat stock steel. 4 miles to measure mine,
this minute. Flush on the transmission case is
often 12 or 13 gallons of keroene, once you have emptied the current sludge/muck. Drive around for
ten minutes, purge the kerosene. I can measure the
spring height in a day or two, unless someone posts it sooner. Good luck.
