OK, i was changing the fuel filters on the 1100 the other day and had a stubborn one that wouldnt come off the glass and my hands were full of diesel and i dropped it. Do they make new ones? I'm most likely gonna go to the dealer tomorrow and get a used one...or 2..lol

The glasses are readilly available (still used in production), there are at least two types that I can think of, the short round type which makes up the whole bottom of the filter, or the long cylindrical type which has a cap on the bottom. Both are available from the aftermarket and OE suppliers.

Logan, I used to fool around with those filters and all the o-rings..... trying to get them all lined up and sealed up from leaking diesel fuel..... them I was talking to my dealer and he suggested changing them over to spin on filters and I did just that.....best thing ever..... just remove the old filter and spin a new one on!!!!.....awesome idea. Just a suggestion.....I have 2 used glass bowls if your interested in them.....good luck
